Heat a bit of butter or extra virgin oil in a frying pan and cook the gnocchi following the instructions on the packaging. Meanwhile, peel the figs and cut them in half, sprinkle sugar and carefully place them in the pan, making sure they don't overlap. Then add the water and let the figs caramelize over low heat. After about half an hour, when the syrup has thickened, turn off the heat. To make the skewers take 4-5 gnocchi to brown, a slice of caramelized fig and a pecorino dice. Serve the honey in a small bowl and place on a tray.
